Villasimius extends from the Sette Fratelli mountain range (north-west) to the coasts of Capo Carbonara promontory (south-east). The mountains occupy the western side of the territory; of particular relevance is Minni Minni Mountain with an altitude of about 700 meters. To the west of Capo Carbonara promontory stand Campulongu beach and the tourist port, while on the eastern side there are the Notteri pond and the beaches of Simius and Porto Giunco. Villasimius also includes two islands: Cavoli island and Serpentara island. The urban center of Villasimius is located about 1.5 km from Simius beach.
