The Is Zuddas caves are located in the south-west part of Sardinia in the municipality of Santadi in the Sulcis region. The cave develops within Meana Mountain, a massif made up of very ancient dolomitic rocks dating back 530 million years ago. The cave, still active, was discovered by speleologists in 1971. The constant internal temperature is 16 degrees, with a humidity rate close to 100%.
